The Box Office is closed during university breaks and holidays.
Parking
Parking for most Schaefer Center events is plentiful.
After 7pm on weekdays, and at all times on weekends, Schaefer Center patrons may use any available parking lot on campus.
- The Peacock and Edwin Duncan parking lots are right across Rivers Street (access at the traffic light directly in front of the Schaefer Center).
- The Blue Ridge Parking Deck is behind the Center (access from Stadium Drive).
- Covered parking is available at both the Rivers Street Parking Deck and the College Street Parking Deck.
During normal business hours, 7am-7pm on weekdays, visitors to the App State campus are required to park in the Rivers Street Parking Deck. A modest per-hour fee is charged.

Smith Gallery
Through innovative exhibitions and stimulating educational programs, the Smith Gallery provides opportunities for direct engagement with contemporary works of art and design for students, faculty and community members of Appalachian State University. Smith Gallery hours
The Smith Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and during special events scheduled at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is free.
