Playing over 300 concerts a year in Venice, Italy’s San Vidal Church since 1987, Baroque ensemble Interpreti Veneziani, who has gained a reputation for the “…exuberance and all-Italian brio characterizing their performances,” will make its Boone premiere. About Interpreti Veneziani
A Baroque ensemble on the Italian and international concert scene, the Interpreti Veneziani made their debut in 1987, immediately gaining a reputation for the “…exuberance and all-Italian brio characterising their performances.”
The Interpreti Veneziani, who recently played their XXXV concert season in Venice, plays each year to a world-wide audience of more than 60,000. The ensemble has performed at the Melbourne Festival, the Bayreuth Festival, the Prague Music Festival “Václav Hudeček,” Stockholm’s Royal Palace, the World Vision Telemarathon at the Kirov Theatre to mark the “reinstatement of the name St. Petersburg,” Osaka Symphony Hall (broadcast live for Japanese radio), the Tokyo Suntory Hall, and Kjoi Hall.
The group alternates appearances each year in the United States, Japan, Canada, and Latin America, with concerts given in the most prestigious halls. In 2013, they performed for the first time in India. The Interpreti Veneziani has a discopgraphy of more than 20 recordings of works by such celebrated composers as Vivaldi, Paganini, Tartini, and Bach.
