SUMMARY:Homecoming Band Spectacular!
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Homecoming with the Appalachian Bands! Jazz Ensemble I\, the Appalachian Symphony Band\, and the Appalachian Wind Ensemble will present their 4th annual Band Spectacular on the Friday night of Homecoming weekend. The Jazz Ensemble will open the concert with several jazz pieces\, the Symphony Band will perform Alfred Reed’s First Suite for Band\, and the Wind Ensemble will perform three works: Michael Markowski’s joyRiDE\, James M. Stephenson’s Declaration\, and James David’s Flying Jewels. \nView the program notes with information about the pieces and performers. \n\n\n\nThe performance will also be live-streamed at music.appstate.edu/performances. \n\n  \nAdmission is FREE and open to the public.
